Morson Projects has been working within the nuclear industry for over thirty years. During this period we have established a reputation for project delivery, quality, innovation and added value services.

The Asset Condition Survey Division was established in 2004 to review and produce independent condition reports, reflecting plant and equipment condition at a given time. The reports allow the client to be proactive in their approach to breakdown and maintenance and to achieve cost savings in future budgets. The scope of work is identified and agreed in discussion with the client and the project team to ensure all Asset Condition Surveys meet the client's expectations and requirements. Our experienced project teams consist of Mechanical, Process, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineers who can be site-based or who can visit site daily.

Evidence of their findings is incorporated both technically and photographically into the reports by the in-house technical author team. The project team carefully and meticulously check through the client records, identifying any previous surveys which have been carried out. They access all of the related engineering drawings and line diagrams, checking for any current or future modifications and ensuring that the maintenance regimes are in place and up to date.

For further information contact The Asset Condition Survey Reports are detailed documents which identify the condition of the plant and incorporate recommendations for maximum achievable lifetime - subject to the requirements of routine maintenance. The content of the documents clearly identify any mechanical, process, electrical or instrumentation inconsistencies, such as:

  • Suitability
  • Maintenance
  • System integrity
